Privacy Policy

This policy describes the current iOS version of Abodli.

Overview

Abodli is a local-first home inventory application. No Abodli account is required. Inventory records are designed to remain on the device unless the user explicitly exports or shares content.

Inventory information

Item names, values, rooms, categories, serial and model numbers, notes, warranty dates, and related inventory fields are stored in the app’s local database. Abodli does not operate a backend that receives this inventory database.

Photos and documents

Selected photos, receipts, and warranty documents are copied into app-controlled local storage. iOS photo or camera access is requested only when the user chooses the related action. Files may leave the device when the user explicitly exports a report or backup and chooses a destination.

Backups and reports

Backups and PDF reports are created only at the user’s request. The user selects the destination through Apple’s Files or share interfaces. A PDF report is not a restorable Abodli backup. Users are responsible for protecting exported files stored outside Abodli.

Warranty notifications

Abodli uses local iOS notifications for warranty reminders. Reminder scheduling information is processed on the device. Abodli does not provide a server-driven notification inbox.

Lifetime Pro purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple. Abodli uses RevenueCat to manage product offerings, purchase status, anonymous app-user identifiers, and the Lifetime Pro entitlement. Abodli does not send inventory records, photos, documents, reports, or backups to RevenueCat. Apple and RevenueCat process purchase-related data under their own privacy policies.

Support communications

If a user contacts support or sends feedback, the user’s email provider transmits the information the user chooses to include. Abodli pre-fills only a subject, app version, and platform; it does not automatically attach inventory records, photos, serial numbers, documents, backups, or RevenueCat customer data.

Retention and deletion

Users can edit or delete individual inventory items. Uninstalling Abodli may remove locally stored app data. Exported backups and reports remain wherever the user saved them and must be deleted there separately. Purchase records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their policies and legal obligations.

Children

Abodli is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

This policy may be updated when Abodli’s behavior or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
