• Local Storage: All your personal data, including your drink logs, habits, and preferences, is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers to collect, store, or transmit your drinking history to us.
• No Account Required: You are not required to create an account, provide an email address, or share your identity to use the app.

2. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

We use RevenueCat to manage our in-app purchases, such as DrinkCal Pro/Lifetime.

• When you make a purchase, the transaction is processed directly by Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• We do not collect, process, or have access to your credit card information or billing details.

3. Analytics and Crash Reporting

To help us improve DrinkCal, the app may collect anonymous diagnostic data.

• Crash Logs: If the app crashes, diagnostic information, such as device model, OS version, and the line of code that caused the crash, may be sent to us. This data is strictly anonymous and cannot be traced back to you or your drinking habits.

4. Data Sources & Attributions

DrinkCal utilizes data and formulas from the following sources to provide accurate nutritional and alcohol information. We sincerely thank these organizations and platforms:

• OpenFoodFacts: Calorie and nutritional data for various beverages are sourced from OpenFoodFacts, available under the Open Database License (ODbL).
• CalorieKing: Additional nutritional reference data is sourced from CalorieKing.
• NIH (NIAAA): Standard drink sizes and limits are referenced from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism.
• NHS: Alcohol unit calculations are based on guidelines from the National Health Service (NHS).
• Unit Converters: Energy conversion factors, including kJ to kcal, are referenced from UnitConverters.net.
• Atwater System: The system for calculating available energy from foods and alcohol is based on the Atwater system.
