Overhead itself does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data to any server. Everything you enter — subscriptions, prices, projects — stays on your device, in a local database. There is no account, no sign-up, and no analytics run by us. The free version does show ads served by Google AdMob, which — separately from Overhead — can collect a device identifier for ad measurement and personalization; see "Advertising" below for what that involves and how to opt out.
Nothing. Overhead has no backend server and no user accounts. There is no way for us to see, receive, or store any information you enter into the app. The one exception is advertising in the free version, described below — that data goes to Google, not to us, and never includes anything you've entered into Overhead.
The free version of Overhead shows ads served by Google AdMob. On your first launch, iOS will ask whether Overhead can request tracking (App Tracking Transparency) — this prompt is about ads, not about anything you track in the app. If you allow it, AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier to show more relevant ads and measure their performance; if you decline, you'll still see ads, just less personalized ones. AdMob's own use of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can change this permission anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Every subscription, project, price, and decision you record is stored locally on your device, in a private on-device database. It is never uploaded anywhere. If you delete the app, that data is gone unless you've exported a backup yourself.
Overhead makes network requests only when they're directly useful to a feature you're using, and only sends the minimum needed to do that lookup — never your name, your subscriptions, or anything that identifies you:
None of these services receive any information that identifies you personally.
If you use the "import from screenshot" feature, the photo you choose is read entirely on your device using Apple's on-device Vision framework. It is never uploaded, and Overhead never accesses your photo library beyond the single image you pick.
Reminder notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device through Apple's notification system. No notification content or scheduling data leaves your device.
You can export a full backup of your data at any time from within the app, and import it back in later. Deleting an item, or deleting the app itself, removes that data from your device — there is nothing stored anywhere else to delete.
Overhead itself does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children — it has no accounts and no backend. Overhead is not directed at children, and is not intended for use by anyone under 13.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new effective date.
